I recently stayed at the Golden Legend Palace Hotel in Hanoi and really enjoyed the welcoming vibe right from the start. Upon arrival, the staff greeted me with a lovely tea, which set a pleasant tone for my visit. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I upgraded to a Superior Double Room for just $5, and it was totally worth it. The location could not be better. close to everything interesting yet surprisingly quiet at night. Sleep quality was excellent, thanks to soundproof windows. The breakfast spread was also enjoyable, providing a great start to each day. However, I faced a bit of a hiccup when I noticed some dust and dirt under the furniture which I didn’t expect in a supposedly clean room. That caught me off guard, especially since I have allergies to dust. But, the staff handled my request for a deeper clean politely and without any fuss. I’d definitely recommend this place for its comfort and location, but they might want to pay more attention to cleanliness in hidden spots.

The staff treated us like family, offering personal touches like arranging early breakfast and providing a room upgrade with a gorgeous view. The hotel's location is a perfect base for exploring the Old Quarter.

During my stay, I encountered several issues that left me frustrated. The computer desk in my room was poorly constructed. when I tried to pull it out to access the plugs, the whole thing collapsed. Additionally, the laundry service was unreliable as my husband's shirt returned shrunk with torn buttons and buttonholes. Despite the management's understanding, these issues significantly impacted our experience, and I expected much better from a hotel that prides itself on service.
